The Challenge before Proposify

Before Proposify, YHB’s proposal process was unwieldy and inefficient. The team relied on Word documents, which were managed manually by Emily Dansbach’s, YHB’s Marketing Manager. Emily recalls, "The process used to be everything lived on my desktop, and I would organize proposals based on industry. It made me realize how this is not long-term sustainable."

As the team grew, it became clear that a more efficient system was necessary. Emily explains, “We were sending multiple emails to principals and staff, saying, like, ‘Here’s edits for this’. They'd send it back. We'd go to Word, we'd edit again, we'd PDF it. And it would just be so much back and forth with tons of room for error.” 

The manual tracking and updating of proposal statuses in HubSpot was also a problem. Emily shares, "It was all manual. If I was working on a proposal, I had to manually log it in HubSpot. I was tracking it in our sales process as to whether it was a draft, sent, or if we had won or lost."
